Universal Wins PrintImage Excellence Awards
Selected for Honor in 4 color Offset Printing, Binding and Finishing, and Best Use of Paper In Nationwide NAPL/NAQP Competition!
Universal Printing was honored with three 2010 PrintImage Excellence Awards at the NAPL/NAQP Owners Conference, Sept. 30-Oct. 2, in Chicago. Universal Printing received a 2nd Place Award in 4-color Offset Printing and also for Binding and Finishing. Additionally, Universal Printing received honors for Best Use of Paper in their recent Rethink campaign. The awards were presented at the annual Awards Luncheon, sponsored by Kodak, on Oct. 1st at the InterContinental Hotel.
PrintImage Excellence Awards were presented to quick and small commercial printers for industry excellence in 17 categories, ranging from one-color offset printing to binding and finishing, in-house design, wide format and high-production digital printing, and cross-media campaigns. More than 125 entries were received in this year’s competition.
“These awards showcase the breadth of printing and related service excellence among quick and small commercial printers,” said NAPL President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph P. Truncale. “The high level of craftsmanship and industry knowledge exhibited by these honorees is a testament not only to their individual acumen, but the quality output that is a trademark of our industry.
